Precast concrete walkways

Concrete interlocking pavers are by far the most popular choice with our customers. Paver technology has come a long way in recent years. The likeness to natural stone is very close. In some instances, it's hard to tell the difference.

We love working with concrete pavers. They come in many styles and colors. They're durable and also easier to install than irregularly cut bluestone. The fact that it's a manufactured product brings costs down, which makes concrete pavers a much more economical option as a walkway material.

I'm Roger Stevens, Jr., president of Loyal Landscaping. I wanted to take a moment to tell you a little about our process for installing walkways.

Our walkways have an 8-10 inch excavated base, allowing for additional substrate we add to combat potential settlement. Many walkway contractors will stop at 6 inches. Some may feel what we do is overkill, but it's our proven recipe for a lasting installation.

We always have our customers' interests at heart with everything we do. Saving a few dollars at the customer's expense is not how we do business. We're looking forward to partnering with you to create a stunning walkway for your home.

Natural bluestone walkways

Natural bluestone is a popular choice for homeowners who enjoy natural stone's look and texture.

Bluestone is considered an upscale option that will draw attention and is considerably more expensive than concrete paver options.

Bluestone is beautiful and durable. It comes in many different formats, large and small. Modern manufacturing has made it possible to purchase uniform-cut pavers which minimize irregularities. We have plenty of experience with this product.
