I'm Roger Stevens, Jr., patio contractor and president of Loyal Landscaping. I wanted to take a moment to tell you a little about our process for installing patios.
Our patios have an 8-10 inch excavated base, allowing for additional substrate we add to combat potential settlement. Many contractors will stop at 6 inches. Some may feel what we do is overkill, but if you cut corners on the foundation, you can destroy a project.
Our customers' interests are top of mind with everything we do. Saving dollars at the customer's expense isn't how we do business and never has been. We're looking forward to partnering with you to create a stunning patio for your family.
Natural Bluestone Patios
People love natural Bluestone for its rich textures and lustrous appeal. This option is considerably more expensive than concrete pavers due to the cost of the stone, and if you are installing irregularly shaped stones, it's more labor-intensive.
Modern manufacturing has made it possible to purchase uniform-cut Bluestone pavers that minimize irregularities and decrease installation time, but the material is still more pricey than concrete pavers.
